I’m 12 months in. It’s been a year since I’ve been unemployed and working as a solo founder.
It’s been a blast.

This month I’ve spent quite a bit of time on optimising things. I used Superwall to improve my paywalls conversion rates. Which increased the revenue. I optimized prices per country, which also increased the revenue.
I’ve built one new app and to my surprise this time it’s growing nicely on Google Play Store (I started to get good reviews right away, without asking), but much slower on the App Store. The app metrics are very promising (high engagement, low churn) so I’ll continue working on ASO to get more organic traffic.
In June I did my first ever ASO consulting. I didn’t know how to price it so I accepted my client’s offer of $350 per iteration. He gave me a 10 score so that’s a good sign for me to continue this as yet another source of income.
Besides that I’ve spent a bunch of time researching new products that I want to build, wrote a few newsletter post and my yearly summary (coming out soon).
