App name: Citify
Description: See what’s happening in your city. Basically, we wanted to create Twitter, but more local and focused on people in cities. The app was working really well, but we didn’t have enough traffic to kickstart the app.
We’ve tried different marketing methods, but they didn’t work out: paid ads, influencers, a regular contest for the most active users.
